HII-TSD is currently seeking a Data Analysis and Visualization Specialist to support the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts. This is a 100% remote position.

Essential Job Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible developing and operating a measurement capability to support agreed organizational information needs that can be applied to organizations, projects, processes, and work products. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for applying mathematics, statistics, data mining, and predictive modeling techniques to gain insights, predict behaviors, and generate value from data. Lastly, the candidate will be responsible for facilitating understanding of data by displaying concepts, ideas, and facts using graphical representations, turning data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions.


  • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
  • Identifying requirements for measurement
  • Using measures to assess performance, progress, and provide indications and insights to actual or potential problems, issues, and risks
  • Planning, implementation, and control of activities to measure attributes of processes, products, and services
  • Presenting findings and data insights in creative ways to facilitate the understanding of data across a range of technical and non-technical audiences
  • Selecting measures and measurement scales, setting target values and thresholds
  • Condensing and encapsulating data characteristics, making it easier to surface opportunities, identify risks, analyze trends, and drive effective decision-making
  • Establishing data collection and analysis methods — including automation
  • Developing forward-looking, predictive, real-time, model-based insights to create value and drive effective decision-making
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
  • Sourcing and preparing data for analysis

Minimum Qualifications

  • Technical expertise with data collection and analysis tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to handle competing work demands
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to do limited travel (0-2 times a year)
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets
  • Expert Knowledge of common data visualization tools
  • Ability to track multiple deadlines in parallel
  • 2 years work experience as a data analyst or business data analyst
  • 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field.

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience with ServiceNow Performance Analytics
  • Understanding of ITIL best practices
