About This Job


As a Customer Success Associate Client Manager, you are responsible for all client activity and the overall success of NielsenIQ at the customer. This includes driving timely outcomes and client value through the data and analytics, which drive the overall customer experience and elevate NIQs performance. This unique role is vital in delivering a customized data solution to our client, combining technical acumen with data analytics to drive value through issue-based insights.

Responsibilities


  • Work collaboratively with internal partners to ensure work is connected to customer business objectives, delivered on-time, and focused on outcome
  • Facilitate clear day-to-day communications with customers, proving the value of NIQ solutions in support of growth, adoption, and value creation
  • Identify opportunities for increased partnership and elevate those opportunities to organizational partners
  • Drive strategic thought leadership with customers leveraging NielsenIQ tools and assets
  • Understand and leverage NielsenIQ solutions and apply industry knowledge to conduct advanced issue-based analyses with clear proactive insights and action-oriented recommendations
  • Lead client presentations with proactive insights and action-oriented recommendations
  • Develop a consultative approach to client business issues, understanding the industry and what issues a client is facing
  • Determine ROI of NielsenIQ recommendations and solutions
  • Write SQL scripts to query NIQ's Data Lake when granular data assets are required to complete an analysis. Review and scope client's requests, size effort, set expectations and execute deliverables
  • Understand client structure and organization
  • Partner with Client Delivery teams to ensure timely delivery of monthly data and reporting
  • Partner with customers to set objectives that drive business impact and maximum client value, building and maintaining strong relationships and deep expertise with adaptability, urgency, and positivity
  • Ensure client stakeholders buy into outcomes and value NielsenIQ is delivering to them
  • Ensure on-time delivery of solutions to achieve forecasted revenue on-time
  • Identify potential revenue opportunities with customers and handoff to Account Developers to enable them to achieve sales goals


Qualifications

You are comfortable working with complex customer relationships and issue resolution. You are creative in leveraging existing data sources to answer tough questions. You work collaboratively on a remote team within a challenging and matrixed environment while maintaining high standards. You have strong time management skills and are comfortable managing multiple priorities.


  • Experience working with complex client relationships and client issue resolution
  • Strong sense of autonomy, urgency, and accountability to delight clients
  • Proficiency in BI Tools a plus (PowerBI, Tableau)
  • Time management & prioritization
  • Experience in a client service environment and ability to develop, maintain and grow client relationships
  • Strong analytical aptitude and proficiency in presenting analysis and insights
  • College/University Undergraduate or master's degree
  • Strong experience in maintaining strong customer relationships
  • Demonstrated strength in data analysis & working with Syndicated, Panel, and POS data highly preferred (Nielsen, IRI, Kantar, and Numerator, to name a few)
  • Collaborating with teams and working in a matrixed environment
  • 2-3 years of CPG/Retail industry experience preferred
  • Strong relational database experience, with an emphasis on writing SQL queries
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Experience utilizing multiple and complex data sets through problem-solving and proven project management skills
  • Prior experience with NielsenIQ solutions
  • Excellent communication skills and presentation skills
  • Skillfully communicate and work collaboratively with internal & external teams
