Da Academic Support Advisor

We developed a proven process to seek, identify, and train students for tech careers while allowing them to focus on their studies and pay no tuition until they are hired.

What you will be doing:

• Reporting on student progress and successes.
• Working in collaboration with the Academic Team to improve and support the student curriculum to identify and address learning gaps.
• Providing and documenting curriculum feedback.
• Providing academic support to students by answering any questions during pre-scheduled shifts.

Requirements:

• Knowledge in the following areas is a big plus: Machine Learning, big data, Non-Relational Databases, Database modeling and design, Spark, Airflow, AWS, and Git.
• You have some experience in statistics, working with BI tools (preferably Tableau), and Business Analytics.
• Ability to quickly adapt to a changing environment.
• 1+ years experience in a Data Analyst role.
• You know your way around SQL, Excel and are proficient in Python.
• Highly proficient and excellent communication skills in English (written).
• Experience in teaching is a big plus.
• Ability to quickly learn new concepts.

Work Hours and Payment:

• Interested freelancers must be able to work 15-30 hours a week between 5 pm-12 am EST.
• The position is fully remote.
• Payment: $20 per hour.
