The Home Depot's Cyber Threat Intelligence team is looking to add to its world-class group of investigators and add a Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst II team member. This associate does not need to of had a long career in Cyber Threat Intelligence or cybersecurity, but they do need an innate willingness to learn and previous investigative experience. This role requires candidates to have curiosity and drive to think like an attacker, fraudster, or cyber-criminal. This role will involve gaining experience using clear, deep, and dark web intelligence tools in the defense of the organization. All applicants need to have a proven track record of thinking outside of the box, and previous experience identifying threats or risks.
Position Description: This role is within one of the cyber defense pillars within the organization's Security Operation Center. Specifically, this role is within the Cyber Threat Intelligence team within the Cyber Threat Intelligence & Incident Response group. Knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK framework is a big plus, as this role will support the Cyber Threat Intelligence Team in responding to Vulnerability Intelligence, All-Source Intelligence, and Brand Intelligence Threats. The title of this role is Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst II.
Cybersecurity Analyst II:
- Ability to compose well-written reports and documentation that may be distributed to large parts of the organization.
- Previous investigative experience.
- Skilled at managing competing priorities.
- Understanding of cybercrime.
- Has a growth mindset and is looking to enhance their technical and soft skills.
- An understanding of Cyber Threat Intelligence and a familiarity with reporting from cybersecurity researchers, vendors, and open-source outlets.
- Skilled at Key term Analysis.
- The ability to research and produce large amounts of technical and non-technical data into written and actionable reporting.
- Familiarity with intelligence writing and structured analytic techniques such as analysis of competing hypotheses, "Devil's Advocate", and others.
- Incident response understanding.
Must Have's:
- Previous technical reporting experience
- Willingness to learn.

Nice to Have's
- Understanding of the Retail sector
- Master's Degree in Cybersecurity (or related field)
- Previous experience as an investigator in Law Enforcement, Military, or Government sectors

Analysts II perform data gathering, analysis, synthesis and develop solutions to support THD Cybersecurity practices.

- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
