Job Description

The Why

Our Trader Support team consistently earns 95% satisfaction on user interactions and is mentioned repeatedly as a reason our users would refer our company to others. With Topstep's recent move to a 1 Step. 1 Rule.™ evaluation and an influx of new traders, we need more representatives supporting our traders to maintain and improve the excellent support Topstep is known for.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Own user issues through various channels, such as email and chat, from start to resolution
  • Troubleshoot and escalate technical issues to our internal teams for resolution and provide frequent communication to the trader through to resolution.
  • Field inbound support requests through Zendesk email and chat channels and works with traders one-on-one to better understand how they can leverage Topstep's offering to meet their personal goals and resolve technical issues.
  • Use your Topstep trading experience to help other traders with platform issues, connectivity troubles, onboarding questions, etc.
  • Troubleshoot incoming issues to determine the severity and escalate when needed

The Ideal Candidate

  • 1-2 years supporting people, preferably through chat and email
  • Works well under pressure and is able to maintain composure in difficult situations
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Quick technical learner, who retains important information and can adapt well to change
  • Must be a current Topstep Funded Trader, or you have been funded in the past
  • Friendly and helpful by nature and passionate about helping other traders
