Job Description
General Description The Customer Service Rep will be responsible for receiving and entering new orders and making changes to existing orders.
Check orders for accuracy and submit confirmations directly to customers.
Performs administrative assignments including telephone support, data entry, inbound/outbound customer communications, act as liaison between customer and internal contacts. Responsibilities Processes orders in a timely, accurate and efficient manner Enter orders into QuickBooks Answer and transfer phone calls Processes small and large labels for all orders Maintain file system for orders and invoices Process credit card orders Manage FedEx and UPS shipments Coordinate with internal departments regarding price, availability, lead times, transportation, and order priorities. Work closely with freight forwarders to coordinate FCL/LCL shipments. Assists with office duties as assigned All other duties as assigned Qualifications Associates Degree preferred or equivalent experience Clerical Skills Regular and reliable attendance Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Experience with QuickBooks a plus Ability to multi-task Work independently with limited supervision Good communication skills Pleasant phone demeanor Ability to work well with others 1 - 2 years experience Compensation and Benefits: Competitive hourly rate Bonus opportunity Health care Retirement Paid time off Wage increase after 90-day review
