Custodian Jobs

Keep building and grounds clean, including, but not limited to, the following: Pick up and remove paper and waste inside building as well as on school groundsSet up tables in gym for student lunch and clean up and take down tables after lunchAssistance and supervision of children in lunchroom and other campus locations as neededPlace lunchroom garbage in cans and remove for outside pickupSweep, dust, and vacuum floors in class rooms, offices and halls using floor brush, dust mop, and/or vacuum cleanerMop lavatory floors, clean mirrors, wash and disinfect sinks, toilet bowls, seats and urinals, and clean and fill rest room dispensers. Clean and disinfect walls and toilet stalls and door entry hardwareSpot mop floors or spot clean carpetsEmpty pencil sharpeners and clean classroom sinks and fill dispensersClean floors, walls etc., immediately after sick-type accidents (vomiting, etc.)Sweep walks, steps and entries as neededEmpty trash/recycle containers and take contents to proper dumpsterSecure all doors and windows and turn off lights when leaving school at nightTake a personal interest in the appearance and security of building and grounds and show a concern for the impression it creates with students, faculty and the publicProvide parking lot supervision as neededProvide support to staff and students in emergency situations and drillsThis organization believes that every individual makes a significant contribution to our success.
