We Are Seeking

Team Gilbert is seeking highly motivated candidates to join our Crime Scene Dream Team! The primary responsibilities for our Crime Scene Specialists include (but are not limited to): responding to and processing all types of crime scenes; collecting and preserving physical and biological evidence; performing crime scene photography, shoe and tire impression photography; and conducting latent print processing. This job family is also responsible for completing all data entry related to crimes scene duties and writing reports of findings and testifies in court on their findings. Candidates for the Crime Scene Specialist position must possess:

• Salary range for a Crime Scene Specialist: $23.66- $34.31 Hourly
• An equivalent combination of education and job-related experience may substitute for the education requirements on a year-for-year basis.
• Associates degree; or
• Must meet the qualifications to wear a tight fitting respirator by passing a medical evaluation in accordance with Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 1910.34 by hire or promotion date and must maintain certification.
• At least two years’ full-time experience as a Crime Scene Specialist (or equivalent position) with a law enforcement agency.
• Valid Arizona Driver's License.

Candidates for the Crime Scene Specialist Senior position must possess:

• Valid Arizona Driver's License.
• 3 years of full-time experience as a Crime Scene Specialist or equivalent position with a law enforcement agency.
• Salary Range for a Crime Scene Specialist Senior: $26.71 - $38.73 Hourly
• Certified Crime Scene Investigator (CCSI) through the International Association for Identification (IAI).
• Bachelor’s degree in Biology; Chemistry; Criminalistics; Forensic Science; or a related field.
• Must meet the qualifications to wear a tight fitting respirator by passing a medical evaluation in accordance with Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 1910.34 by hire or promotion date and must maintain certification.

Special Requirement: Because of the confidential, sensitive nature of information handled, successful completion of a background investigation and polygraph is required. Candidates given a conditional job offer will be required to pass a psychological evaluation and medical evaluation.

This position is an At-Will position and is FLSA Non-Exempt - eligible for overtime compensation.
