• May inspect and lubricate cables, pulleys, guides and drums
• May also direct the activities of laborers or dock helpers
• Skills are typically acquired through on the job training, crane and rigging certifications, and a minimum 5 years experience in stockpoint services
• Under general supervision, safely and effectively operates cranes for the purpose of ensuring the delivery of quality customer service, world-class safety, and business segment efficiency
• Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required PPE
• Reads and interprets instructions, documentation and plans work activities
• Performs other duties and activities as directed
