The Cosmetologist under the supervision of the Director of Child Development and Activities will provide quality, timely, and courteous services to all Totally Kids Rehabilitation Hospital Patients on an individual basis, in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards governing the facility. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The employee shall support the organization strategic plan, the goals and direction of the quality assurance performance improvement process, and activities.

Requirements:

• Works responsibly in a team environment as well as independently
• Knowledge of CMS conditions of participation, CDPH state regulations, CCS, and TJC (hospital, nursing care center, and laboratory) accreditation requirements as applicable to job
• Manages confidential information effectively and appropriately
• Current Licensed Cosmetologist as issued in the State of California
• Minimum of two (2) years experience cutting/styling hair
• Must possess good work ethics and a professional image at all times
• Minimum of one (1) year working with children, preferred
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications as applicable to job
• Possess strong communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills
