Position: Coordinator, Community Affairs & Atlanta Braves Foundation
Reports to: Sr. Manager, Community Affairs & Atlanta Braves Foundation
Position Overview: The Community Affairs and Atlanta Braves Foundation Coordinator is an essential member of the Community Affairs and Atlanta Braves Foundation team, providing operational support for fundraising and community initiatives, as well as planning and implementing programs in Braves Country. This position will work cross functionally with corporate and community partners to execute key partnership activations.
About the Department: The Community Affairs team drives community outreach, corporate-community engagement, and community impact for the club. We have the privilege of representing the Atlanta Braves off the field and bringing Braves baseball to communities across Braves Country. The Community Affairs department interfaces with every department across our business, with our team, our fans, and our communities daily. We are colleague, customer, and client-focused and embrace a service culture with a focus on operational excellence.
About the Atlanta Braves Foundation: The Atlanta Braves Foundation serves as the fundraising and funding mechanism for Braves Care and allows organizations, individuals, companies and communities from across Braves Country to engage with the club in social good.

Major responsibilities:
- Work closely with local school districts and partner schools to identify ways to support educators and students in Braves Country
- Support the Atlanta Braves Foundation and Community Affairs team on all community events and activations
- Manage portfolio of corporate partner clients, building and executing sponsored community events and programs
- Research and writing assignments as required
- Interface with legal department on contract management and agreements ensuring compliance
- Vendor & Supplier coordination for events and activations
- Coordinate MLB league-wide initiatives and awareness days in-ballpark
- Engagement with community partners
- Manage volunteer program for Braves front office staff, working closely with the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion council
- Grant program and partner management
- Donation management and support as required
- Assist in fundraising initiatives for Atlanta Braves Foundation and game-day responsibilities as assigned
- Ability to work nights and weekends
- 2+ years of professional experience required
- Strong individual contributor with a team-focused approach to work and collaboration
- Event planning and program experience preferred
- Nonprofit/fundraising experience preferred
- Candidate must possess good attention to detail, outstanding administrative skills, excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- College degree in relevant field required
- Must complete a successful background check
- Passion to work in professional sports, nonprofit and community relations
- Familiarity with DonationX and Salesforce preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and Power Point required
- Proficient knowledge of the game of baseball
- Bilingual Spanish/English preferred
