Job Description
Description/Job Summary


/Summary:


Pack product by use of hands in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining highest quality.


Required Qualifications


  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Factory experience a plus.


Responsibilities/Duties


  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in their assigned areas.
  • Comply with all written and verbal safety rules of the plant and the department assigned to.
  • Read docket daily and at all order changes to ensure the proper product is being packed.
  • Use a tape gun in a safe manner.
  • Complete proper quality bag check every fifteen minutes.
  • Help surrounding areas when their machine is down.
  • Properly read and understand how to work the scales.
  • Pack and inspect efficiently on all production lines that you have been trained on.
  • Use of the proper personal protective equipment.
  • Must be able to work an eight hour or twelve hour shift with overtime required both weekly and on weekends.
  • Properly work a calculator.
  • Label for the current job as well as upcoming job changes ensuring accuracy.
  • Use of a hand jack for product movement.
  • Use a hot melt gun safely.
