Job Summary

Join a team that is in an exciting time of growth and is aiming to become one of the United States largest production facilities within their industry, as a Controls Technician. As the Controls Technician, you will be responsible for providing expertise within PLC programming and troubleshooting. You will work with automated machinery, PLCs, and HMIs. A successful candidate will be comfortable working with a variety of manufacturing machinery. This role has an opening for both a 2nd and 3rd shift.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Troubleshoot process control systems
• Troubleshoot or establish control networks
• Identify root causes of problems and propose and implement solutions
• Write and modify extensive PLC's for production machinery

Qualifications

• Experience with RS Logix 500/5000
• At least 3 years of experience with programming and troubleshooting PLC controls within an industrial environment
• Electrical background within a manufacturing environment
