Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Controller at Franklin Sensors in Meridian, ID. The Controller will oversee all financial activities of the company, including the preparation of financial statements and reports, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and tax compliance. The Controller will work closely with external accountants and auditors, to ensure that all financial operations are conducted in compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as legal and regulatory requirements. In addition, the controller will work closely with and oversee other departments to the extent required to ensure profitability of company activities.


Qualifications

  • Experience with financial reporting requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively
  • Experience in working with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellas
  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial statements and reports
  • Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
  • Experience with tax compliance and working with external accountants and auditors
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills


  • Educational/Experience Requirements

    • Bachelor or Master’s degree in accounting or finance
    • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification preferred
    • Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in accounting/finance
