Controller- Full Time Remote

Supply Chain Sources, LLC is a fast growing, dynamic consumer goods importer and wholesaler. We are innovators who continuously evaluate and meet the changing needs of our customers. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced accounting controller to join our remote team.

Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and payroll

Conduct regular financial analysis, prepare annual budgets, compile comprehensive reports for management

Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion

Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls

Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and internal policies

Review and approve financial transactions, invoices, and expense reports

Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, changes in regulations, and best practices in accounting and finance

Utilize Excel and reporting tools to generate meaningful financial reports and insights

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)

Proven experience as an Accounting Controller or similar role

Proficient in QuickBooks and other accounting software

Strong knowledge of import and wholesaling processes

Familiarity with big box retail operations is a plus

In-depth understanding of financial principles and practices

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Advanced Excel skills with experience in generating comprehensive financial reports

Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting

Minimum 7 years accounting experience
