About The Role
- Monitor changes in applicable industry regulations and standards and legal requirements and develop and update company policies to align with such changes.
- Manage customer diligence and audit requests regarding products, data privacy and technical controls and coordinate responses with internal stakeholders.
- Manage and negotiate deviations to standard contracts, NDAs, data processing addenda, and Standard Contractual Clauses with customers and third party providers along with key internal stakeholders and outside counsel.
- Support the business in identifying, evaluating and mitigating business risks while executing multiple projects and programs concurrently.
- Support the sales and executive teams as a subject matter expert in the area of operational and legal compliance.
- Support the Product and Business Operations teams in evaluating 3rd party providers’ compliance with company standards and monitor such compliance throughout the engagement.
- Manage customer, data subject and other 3rd party data privacy related inquiries.
- Support the Product teams in launching products across global markets by ensuring regulatory compliance with relevant global privacy and regulatory standards. ( e.g. GDPR, CCPA, CE, ISO).
- Participate in and support regular business integrity processes including as a member of the Internal Security Team (IST) and 3rd party audit teams.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in managing all aspects of preparing, revising, negotiating, examining, and analyzing contract documents.
- Experience with structured compliance environments such as ISO and SOC preferred.
- Relevant experience with global data privacy regulations and regimes.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
