- This is a CONTRACT position
- Responsible for management of a large number of requests with a complex schedule.
- Gathers, analyzes & reports on data for opportunities to optimize workflows and reduce inefficiencies
- Ensures deliverables meet service-level agreements for assigned projects
- Responsible for project in assigned field, including scoping, planning & alignment, task allocation, tracking/reporting, and facilitating team progress
- Responsible for maintaining confidentiality on highly sensitive projects safeguarding corporate content
- Identifies project risk assessments and provides mitigation plans
- Develops and maintains comprehensive documentation specific to project responsibilities and activities
- Develops and facilitates localization standards and best practices
- Collaborates with peers and managers to exchange complex information, setting project priorities and adjusting resource allocations
- Actively engages in collecting and sharing feedback on quality, processes, efficiencies, and customer satisfaction
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, highly confidential environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines
- Three to five years related experience in Localization project management including vendor management or equivalent
- Excellent business communication skills in English (and Japanese preferred)
- Experience with MS Office, CAT tools, translation management tools, and machine translation post-editing tasks
- Solid understanding of tagged file formats such as XML/HTML
- Excellent organizational, project management, facilitation, and analytical skills
- This is a CONTRACT position
- Proven experience working in a customer-centric environment
- Ability to manage translation workloads in areas such as but not limited to: Marketing, quality control, repair of product hardware; consumer service support; information technology
