Job Description

The Regional Continuous Improvement Leader (RCIL) is responsible for implementing the Chromalloy Continuous Improvement strategy across multiple sites in the West region. In this position, objectives include fostering a Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement culture, providing technical support and training to enhance process improvement capabilities, and overseeing continuous improvement KPIs to drive performance and financial metrics at Chromalloy.


Your leadership skills and expertise in continuous improvement methodologies such as Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Poka-yoke, and 3P. The RCIL will enable you to act as a change agent, inspiring and influencing employees at all levels and promoting collaboration through sharing best practices. Up to 75% travel to Chromalloy sites.


This position may work remotely from eligible locations in the U.S. Western region locations strongly preferred, Phoenix area is ideal.


Responsibilities:

  • Embed a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.
  • Collaborate with leadership to prioritize and improve critical areas.
  • Identify and eliminate process waste, driving sustainable improvements.
  • Lead and deploy Continuous Improvement strategy across regional sites, fostering a Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement mindset.
  • Drive improvement projects, aligning with corporate targets and objectives.
  • Define and oversee Continuous Improvement KPIs, positively impacting safety, quality, performance, and financial metrics.


Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with 5+ years of experience in a Continuous Improvement leadership role
  • Proven leadership skills in complex and high-pressure environments.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities for problem resolution.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to influence and build relationships, fostering a culture of open communication and feedback.
  • BA / BS degree in a Continuous Improvement related discipline (Operations, Engineering, Business)
  • Ability to drive consensus, obtain buy-in from senior leadership, and lead successful change initiatives by setting priorities, removing barriers, and empowering high-performing teams.
  • Continuous Improvement training and certification (6-Sigma, Lean, Continuous Improvement, etc.)
  • Experience in deploying Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, including Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen Facilitation, 5S, Kanban, and more.
  • Up to 75% travel to Chromalloy sites (mostly Western US)
  • Per FAA and ITAR requirements, incumbents must be U.S. Citizens or U.S. Permanent Residents.

Salary range: $166,000-208,000 DOE
