Job Description
Position Overview


Troubleshoots manufacturing/business quality issues and with area leader develops strategic plans to address and overcome the problems. Use Lean Problem-Solving methods to determine point of cause and put corrective action in place. Will be required to coordinate team members across all departments to ensure project deliverables are achieved. Create documentation (standardized work) and work instructions to capture and hold the current condition. Works with area leaders to make recommendations on improvement opportunities. Develops data to understand, track and monitor activity related to project status. Monitors improvement milestones to ensure on-time completion and sustainability of results to ensure there is no backsliding. Fosters associate engagement and involvement in improvement activities. Responsibilities to include providing Lean support and training focused on the implementation of improvement initiatives across the entire value stream at Lantech. Also includes the facilitation and leadership of Lean workshops. Required to teach and train Lantech associates on lean principles / philosophy.

  • Ability to deliver Lean training and lead cross-functional workshop teams

Education


  • 3 years Manufacturing engineering experience in a Lean environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical) is required.
