We are searching for a highly skilled and motivated Continuous Improvement Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-tech environment where innovation and creativity are not only encouraged but expected. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing continuous improvement initiatives, using lean manufacturing principles and six sigma methodologies to enhance our manufacturing processes, improve efficiency, and reduce waste.


Responsibilities


  • Act as a change agent, driving the adoption of new processes and practices across the organization.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues in the production process, using problem-solving skills and engineering knowledge to develop effective solutions.
  • Utilize Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to identify areas of inefficiency, develop solutions, and implement changes to improve productivity and quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate current manufacturing processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of implemented changes, providing regular updates to senior management on progress and results.
  • Facilitate training and workshops on Lean principles and Six Sigma methodologies, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
  • Lead and manage continuous improvement initiatives across the organization, focusing on enhancing efficiency, reducing waste, and improving overall operational excellence.


Qualifications


  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and influence others.
  • Proficient in the use of statistical analysis software and other tools used in Lean and Six Sigma initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks based on business needs and deadlines.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and lean manufacturing.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, with demonstrated experience leading successful Six Sigma projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean principles and methodologies, with proven experience implementing Lean initiatives in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to lead teams and drive change across the organization.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field is required.
