Content Management Software Developer

Key Role:

Help the client better serve the needs of its constituency and build a workforce that reflects the diversity of the nation. Join our team of talented, driven individuals who are passionate about leveraging data to create a more equitable place to work. Assist in assessing, developing, and recommending user interface and user experience (UI/UX) solutions and data products powered by Tableau. Produce Tableau dashboards, workbooks, and data pipelines to inform key Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) stakeholders of key trends in workforce demographics, hiring and losses, personnel lifecycle, and other metrics deemed necessary to assess the status of the labor force. Apply UI/UX expertise to package key analytics insights to most effectively apprise leadership of progress of DEIA initiatives. Function as a Tableau developer and UI/UX designer, bringing your leadership, consulting, planning, and capability development expertise to work alongside thought leaders in data processing, data system capabilities, and DEIA strategic efforts to remove barriers to access and systemic inequalities.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience with designing wireframes, low and high-resolution concepts, and working prototypes
  • Ability to create and improve design solutions for applications that are based on user-centered design techniques
  • Ability to query and display large data sets while maximizing performance
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Experience with developing, maintaining, and managing Tableau driven dashboards and analytics, including Tableau Server
  • Ability to interpret technical or dashboard structure and translate complex business requirements to technical specifications
  • Experience with building SQL scripts and queries
  • Experience with creating executive-level documentation, reports, whitepapers, and briefings

Additional Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of NASA organizational structure
  • Ability to work with senior government officials
  • Ability to manage multiple competing tasks, prioritize as necessary, and deliver high-quality products to a variety of stakeholders, under tight deadlines
  • Experience working on DEIA initiatives
  • Knowledge of accessibility design principles for compliance with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973
  • Experience working with complex science, technology, or technical topics

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,400.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
