Position Overview (office-based in Rosemont, IL with hybrid flexibility; relocation is not available for this position):


DMI is in search of a consumer insights and analytics professional with 5+ years of experience in a consumer-related company.


Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Consumer and Market Insights, you will be a part of a larger strategic intelligence team, contributing to the overall understanding of consumer and marketplace trends, and implications for the dairy industry. You will knit together multiple data and insight sources into a story that supports strategy development and dairy sales growth.


Responsibilities:


  • Present sales and insight team with intelligence to inform planning, drive business decisions
  • Integrate insights across multiple data sets
  • Build knowledge and understanding of the dairy shopper/consumer
  • Create reports for internal and external teams
  • Generate and explore hypotheses
  • Leverage a wealth of resources to interpret consumer and sales patterns & trends
  • Translate data into insights to answer business questions
  • Produce data dashboards and create data visualizations to tell a story
  • Communicate insights to the team and help to turn data into a story


Requirements


Qualifications:


  • Ability to see patterns in data
  • Inquisitive nature, continuously asking questions of data
  • Comfortable with large sets of numbers
  • 5+ years business experience, preferably with a CPG company or a consumer intelligence company
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experience working with syndicated sales and/or consumer databases such as Circana or NielsenIQ
  • Proficient in excel
  • Undergraduate degree in analytical field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize work
