Leadenhall Search & Selection are recruiting a Accounting Advisory Consultant for a top US advisory firm.

The Role:

• Undertaking research and documentation projects related to new ASC accounting standards, such as ASC 842 and ASC 606.
• Performing accounting projects focused on separating business units or subsidiaries.
• Collaborating with the client's internal staff as an expert in operational senior accounting tasks and providing overall financial team support.
• Compiling financial and regulatory information in compliance with SEC and regulatory requirements, including 10Ks, 10Qs, S-1 and S-4 filings, and coordinating audits.
• Initiating process improvement projects and implementing changes to enhance efficiency.
• Conducting operational due diligence for complex transactions such as acquisitions, divestitures, stock offerings, debt raises, and IPOs.

The Person:

• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills are required, along with the ability to seamlessly integrate into teams.
• An undergraduate degree in Accounting is preferred, but candidates with a CPA and/or MBA, along with substantial accounting experience, will also be considered.
• Candidates should have 2 to 5 years of experience in public accounting and/or industry accounting/finance.
• Strong technical skills and a solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting are essential.
• High energy levels and a dedication to providing quality client service are expected.
• Effective analytical and critical thinking abilities are desired.
• Candidates should possess an entrepreneurial mindset, be self-motivated, exhibit ethical behaviour, and be reliable.
