Construction Superintendent Jobs

(2) positions available. The Construction Superintendent is a Senior Working On-Site Leadership position. Responsibilities include but not limited to preparing and presenting progress reporting as required by the customers, attending customer and company meetings, preparing and completion of change orders and it's requirements, supervision coordination scheduling of on-site workforce and sub-contractors, resolving on-site unplanned events, seek out resolve and document for lessons learned all on and off site safety issues, ensure workforce training in use of tools equipment and safety requirements, ensuring all customer schedule and safety requirements are being completed on time and within budget. Job-site locations are primarily in Ct. Area's include but not limited to (Bridgeport, Stratford, Middletown, Cheshire, Hartford, East Hartford, Manchester, Windsor Locks).

Required experience, 10-15 yrs of commercial construction, read & interpret blueprint/job drawings, written & oral communication skills, Carpenter, metal framing, sheetrock, metal/fire proof doors & hardware, drop ceilings, commercial flooring, painting, concrete, lifts, Bob-Cat skid steer, Bob-Cat excavator, industrial safety training and certifications, (5) years of job supervision experience or previous business owner with commercial construction experience, some college preferred but not required, must have computer based reporting and scheduling skills.
