Job Description
The Construction Superintendent oversees construction activities, workforce, and schedules from mobilization to project completion. Able to read and follow plans and specifications. Proficient in directing several trades and crews and explaining daily tasks to yield high productivity. Must be professional with excellent communication skills and the ability to organize field staff and worksite activities. This is a safety critical position.

Requirements
Duties and qualifications include but not limited to:
  • Ability to observe and coordinate work progress and complete daily reports.
  • History of hands-on experience with skilled trades preferred.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with in writing and verbally.
  • Working knowledge of commercial building construction methods and materials.
  • Generally familiar with construction administration process of reporting, invoicing, submittals, RFI, change orders, etc.
  • Ability to read and understand drawings, plans and specifications in detail.
  • Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
  • Working knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions common to equipment operations or OSHA training.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • Must be able to meet driving and background clearance requirements.
  • Minimum of Five (5) years’ experience involving the supervision of construction labor and subcontractors.
  • Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
