Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Construction Site Superintendent to lead a talented carpentry crew. Our mission is to seamlessly merge the architecture, design, and construction processes while cultivating a client-focused approach. The Site Superintendent works a full-time schedule year-round and earns an hourly wage with an annual compensation amount of between $75,000 - $95,000, depending on skills and experience.

The Site Superintendent is primarily responsible for project planning & fulfillment, client relations, safety, and leading a 2-4 person crew in the field. You are the leader on-site; putting all of the work in place as shown on the provided plans and specifications, ensuring the highest quality standards are met while providing an exceptional customer experience.


The Superintendent is responsible for everything that happens day-to-day on the project site, and for the overall success of the field teams including all subcontractors. You work collaboratively with Project Managers, Designers, and Architects as a team of peers whose goal and intent is to deliver an amazing product while delighting your Client.


Key Responsibilities


  • Ensure safety protocols are followed 100% of the time.
  • Daily Jobsite management of construction projects, monitoring progress, updating logs.
  • Crew and workforce planning, coordination, and scheduling.
  • Tracking and reporting of issues & outcomes.
  • Ensuring field construction teams meet production targets.
  • Management and maintenance of materials, tools, equipment, inventory & payment.
  • Being an integral part of the hiring & onboarding process.
  • Client management and communication.
  • Working collaboratively with the project development team and operations.
  • Responsible for managing and supervising all crewmembers assigned as well as subcontractors, including oversight & quality control.

Qualifications & Experience


  • Strong customer service, as well as interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Residential and/or Commercial construction experience and an understanding of all processes involved in the day-to-day running of various types of projects.
  • 10+ years of field construction experience.
  • Communicate and lead by example through a positive and professional demeanor.
  • Able to read and understand project scope, make a plan and foresee any complications.
  • A valid Driver's License, a clean driving record, and a reliable vehicle are required.
  • Ability and willingness to jump in and help the crews on your projects as needed.
  • Lead-Safe certification preferred.
  • Prior experience managing crews and subcontractors required.
  • Thorough understanding of the materials and installation aspects of new construction remodels and their associated building codes.
  • 5+ years of supervisory and team leadership experience with proven success, preferably in construction or another trade.
  • Independently motivated and able to achieve goals and timelines under minimal supervision.
  • OSHA 10 certification required, OSHA 30 preferred.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite, Project Management Software, and Microsoft Office preferred.

The typical schedule is Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 4:00 pm with opportunities for overtime as needed.


We're a safety-conscious company, so you must be able to safely:

  • Operate tools, machines & equipment.
  • Kneel and bend repeatedly.
  • Ability to climb ladders.
  • Ability to perform indoors and outdoors during all seasons of the year.


A valid Driver's License, a clean driving record, and a reliable vehicle are required. A minimum of 10 years of hands-on carpentry experience is required. Prior experience managing crews and subs required. OSHA 30 certification preferred.
