Job Description

Position: Construction Management Representative (CMR)

Location: Montrose, Colorado which is 10 miles from the park

Contract Term: Tentative dates are June 20, 2023, through November 3, 2023, and April 1, 2024, through July 26, 2024.

Client: United States Department of the Interior, National Park Services (NPS)

Education Qualification

Education and professional qualifications related to construction, architecture, engineering and Historic Preservation.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of and experience with construction management practices directly related to asphalt and concrete paving projects, including asphalt and concrete testing. Please note any relevant certifications related to construction management projects, practices, materials testing, and techniques held by the proposed Construction Management Representative
  • Prior experience with contractor quality control three-phase inspection.
  • Prior experience inspecting asphalt paving projects where proposed CMR monitored Contractor conformance with contract documents and regulatory permits and resource protection measures required by government agencies to avoid and minimize construction related adverse impacts to natural and cultural resources.
  • Prior experience working with Federal Government Project Managers/CORs on assessing and processing change requests, requests for information, submittals, and field observation reports.
  • Education leading to Construction Management Degree or equivalent demonstrated professional experience (minimum 4 years).
