Excellent planning and communication skills are critical for success in this position. This includes coordination with external vendor partners and internal teams to successfully open new stores on time, within budget, and at a level of quality that meets or exceeds our client's standards.

What you will do:

  • Track and analyze project flow and outcomes to prepare future reports and identify improvements to Mister’s best practices
  • Collaboration and management of general contractors and third-party vendor partners
  • Order equipment and work with internal support teams to meet delivery deadlines
  • Avoid issues through proper planning; resolve issues when they emerge
  • Report project progress on a weekly (and sometimes daily) basis
  • Determine the resources (e.g., time, money, equipment) needed to create, manage, and fulfill project budgets within approved limits
  • Remain calm under pressure, act decisively, maintain flexibility, and effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Job cost estimating, budget creation, forecasting, and closeout
  • Apply value engineering principles to increase facility value
  • Negotiate terms of agreements and review bids and contracts
  • Manage construction projects with competing timelines from conception to completion
  • Listen actively and communicate assertively

How you will shine:

  • Excellent writing, communication, project management, and interpersonal skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction management software packages
  • Ability to travel roughly 50%
  • Work and collaborate remotely with limited direct supervision
  • Skilled at reading blueprints/schematics; knowledgeable about current building codes
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management

What motivates our team:

  • Career Progression with a high-growth, publicly traded company.
  • Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) offered after 6 months of employment.
  • Excellent Benefits including medical, vision, dental, PTO, 401k, etc.
