We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our client, one of the fast growing auto spa companies in the country.
The Project Manager will oversee and assign resources for new site openings across the Midwest to East Coast market. This role will lead new site opening activities from due diligence to site turnover to operations, leading multiple teams and resources internally and externally, and managing the general contractor relationships for new site construction. The ideal candidate is a powerful communicator that can adapt to different personalities and various jobsite conditions.
Job Responsibilities:
•Manages all phases of ground up, retail construction projects
•Track the successful execution of assigned projects, provides support to facilitate planning andcoordination of construction activities to ensure that all project objectives are accomplished,and ensures project profitability targets are met
•Read and follow blueprints and technical diagrams and inspect what you expect on each job
•Work collaboratively with and update company leaders and partners on progress and managethe external contractors who support the construction process from pre-construction to closeout
•Work closely with architects and engineers to develop plans, establish timelines, and calculatelabor and material costs
•Develop and maintain accurate and detailed project schedules and budgets for all constructionprojects
•Bid resources as needed, which include subcontractors, architects, engineers, and generalcontractors
•Ensure that all projects are on time, on budget, and progressing as planned
Qualifications, Skills & Abilities:
•Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management preferred
•Minimum of 6-10 years of Project Management experience in the Construction field
•Experience with high volume, ground up builds
•Proficient in MS Office, MS Project and Smartsheet
•Track record of working in a fast-paced, multi-unit environment
•Multi-tasking skills and the ability to coordinate work on several facets of a project
•Superior written and verbal communication skills
