Construction Laborer Jobs

POSITION DESCRIPTION: PERIKIN is seeking an experienced construction laborer to join our team. The successful candidate will assist with various construction tasks, including digging trenches, operating power tools, carrying materials, and other duties as assigned by the construction supervisor. The ideal candidate should have at least 2-3 years of experience working in the construction industry and be able to work independently or as part of a team.

Primary Job Duties

• Operate hand and power tools, including saws, drills, and hammers
• Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment from trucks
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
• Follow safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
• Perform manual labor tasks, such as digging trenches, breaking up concrete, and carrying materials
• Perform other duties as assigned by the construction supervisor
• Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and other materials

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2-3 years of experience working in the construction industry
• Familiarity with hand and power tools used in construction

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Ability to carry up to 30-40 pounds and stand for long periods
• Willingness to follow safety guidelines and procedures
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to work in all weather conditions
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
