Job Description

W2 Position / C2C Not Possible for this Position

Pay : 55$/Hr

Remote

Console Gaming Expertise: In-depth knowledge and experience playing video games on various console
platforms, such as Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo.
Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with console compliance and certification requirements, including content
guidelines, age ratings, network connectivity, platform-specific features, and other technical specifications.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to thoroughly test games and identify non-compliance issues,
ensuring that games meet console manufacturer standards.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex compliance guidelines, identify potential issues, and think critically to
provide accurate reports and recommendations.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively report non-compliance
issues, collaborate with team members, and communicate with console manufacturer representatives.
Problem-Solving Ability: Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot compliance-related issues, suggest
solutions, and assist in finding ways to meet console requirements.
Time Management: Effective time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks, meet certification
submission deadlines, and adapt to changing project requirements.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and actively contribute to a positive and supportive
work environment.
Passion for Gaming: Genuine passion for video games and a deep understanding of the gaming industry and
trends.
Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to evolving compliance standards, testing methodologies, and new technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:
Prior Compliance Testing Experience: Previous experience in compliance testing, quality assurance, or software
testing, preferably in a console gaming environment.
Familiarity with Console Certification Processes: Understanding of the certification processes and submission
requirements for console platforms.
Knowledge of Localization: Understanding of localization processes and requirements, including language
translations and cultural considerations.
Familiarity with Bug Tracking Tools: Experience with bug tracking and test management tools, such as JIRA,
Bugzilla, or TestRail, is a plus.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $55.00 per hour
