Other services offered are siding, windows, doors, concrete, garage construction, decks, and cabinets.
Our installers are offered on the job training in all necessary activities. While construction work is

throughout the year.

Work Site: Sheboygan County
Pay: Beginning hourly wage is dependent on experience and skill level of employee.
Duration/Usual Hours Per Week: Full Time, 40 to 50 hours per week
Shift/Work Days: First Shift‐ Monday through Sunday

Experience/Qualifications: Experience in concrete field. Good communication skills and leadership
qualities. Must be able to operate and maintain concrete equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities of the Job
Smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete, such as floors, walks, sidewalks, roads, or curbs
using a variety of hand and power tools
Align forms for sidewalks, curbs, or gutters
Patch voids
Use saws to cut expansion joints
Directly coordinate actives of construction or extraction workers
Arrange for repairs of equipment or machinery
Assign work to employees based on material or worker requirements of specific jobs
Confer with managerial or technical personnel, or other departments, or contractors to resolve
problems or to coordinate activities
Estimate material or worker requirements to complete jobs
Inspect work progress, equipment, or construction sites to verify safety or to ensure that
specifications are met
Locate, measure, and mark site locations or placement of structures or equipment, using
measuring and marking equipment
Provide assistance to workers engaged in construction or extraction activities, using hand tools
or other equipment
Read specifications, such as blueprints, to determine construction requirements or to plan
procedures
Train workers in construction methods, operation of equipment, safety procedures, or company
policies
Analyze worker or production problems and recommend solutions, such as improving
production methods or implementing motivational plans
Apply hardening and sealing compounds to cure surface of concrete, and waterproof or restore
surface
Apply muriatic acid to clean surface, and rinse with water
Build wooden molds, and clamp molds around area to be repaired, using hand tools
Check the forms that hold the concrete to see that they are properly constructed
Chip, scrape, and grind high spots, ridges, and rough projections to finish concrete, using
pneumatic chisels, power grinders, or hand tools
Clean chipped area, using wire bush, and feel and observe surface to determine if it is rough or
uneven
Cut metal division strips, and press them into terrazzo base so that top edges form desired
design or pattern
Cut out damaged areas, drill holes for reinforcing rods, and position reinforcing rods to repair
concrete, using power saw and drill
Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door stills and other fixtures in freshly poured concrete,
pattern, or stamp the surface to provide a decorative finish
Mix cement, sand, and water to produce concrete, grout, or slurry using hoe, trowel, tamper,
scraper, or concrete mixing machine
Mold expansion joints and edges using edging tools, jointers, and straightedge
Operate power vibrator to compact concrete
Produce rough concrete surface, using broom
Push roller over surface to embed chips in surface
Set the forms that hold concrete to desired pitch and depth, then align them
Signal truck driver to position the truck to facilitate pouring concrete and move the chute to
direct concrete on forms
Spread, level, and smooth concrete using rake, shovel, hand or power trowel, hand or power
screed, and float
Waterproof or restore concrete surfaces using appropriate compounds
