  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, urban studies/planning, public or business administration, public health, or a related field, along with three (3) to five (5) years of experience, some at the supervisory level
  • Valid South Carolina driver's license


The Community Services Manager is responsible for overseeing activities in the Community Services Division. This position coordinates work and supervises professional, technical and/or administrative staff; prepares and administers Division operating budgets using local, state, and federal funding sources; prepares financial and procurement reports; prepares and/or oversees the preparation of applications for competitive funding awards from Federal and State sources; prepares and implements the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) plans and program; and administers the neighborhood revitalization program, working closely with various stakeholder groups and government officials.
