Job Description

Community Management Consultant

We are looking for:

A dynamic Community Management Consultant with mature organizational skills and experience in supporting complex, large strategic efforts at tech companies. You will be successful in this role if you have strong project management skills inclusive of leadership, organization, Microsoft Office, and other soft skills. You are well-versed in stakeholder and conflict management, leading teams, executing strategy, and collaborating within and without organizational siloes to pull together an ecosystem to support a wide variety of project and program work.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prioritizing based on business needs and requirements.
  • Engage with client leadership as necessary to communicate program objectives, strategy, tactics, and ongoing progress.
  • Curate and manage a SharePoint/hub platform as the primary source for essential content, ensuring easy access for field communities and broader Microsoft audiences.
  • Work directly with all geographic areas and impacted parts of the business to drive this workstream from initiation through delivery.
  • Own communication on project status, issue management, and resolution. Including celebrating success and failures so we learn and develop a growth mindset.
  • Channel field feedback into actionable insights for optimizing field enablement, support, skilling, and overall role effectiveness.
  • Ensure scope and schedule for commitments are clearly defined, agreed upon, and communicated across stakeholder and leadership teams
  • Establish and maintain a central community hub with up-to-date content and visual identities to enhance communication effectiveness.
  • Foster a dynamic community environment where members empower each other through the sharing and validation of industry-aligned best practices.
  • Channel field feedback into actionable insights for optimizing field enablement, support, skilling, and overall role effectiveness.
  • Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts.
  • Updating, implementing, and maintaining procedures.
  • Actively seek opportunities to create synergies across internal groups to drive long-term solutions to a customer connected experience

Role Requirements:

  • BA or MS in Business Management or related fields desired
  • A history of leading and supporting successful projects.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to operate in PST time zone
  • Excellent documentation skills.
  • Must have prior Microsoft experience (or with a similar tech enterprise) and understand the corporate culture and environment
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication to present updates and ideas to business leaders, customer experience and sales leaders and stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing large scale, complex projects and overseeing team collaboration and program/project orchestration end to end
  • 5+ years combined experience: Project/Program Management, Delivery Management
  • Experience leading and developing top-performing teams.
  • Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
  • Must be v-dash eligible (not in 6-month ‘off’ period)
  • Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.


Salary Range: Between $85,000 - $115,000
