Corner Alliance, a dynamic, growing consulting firm dedicated to an enriching employee experience, is looking for a Communications and Outreach Specialist with 4+ years of experience to join our Boulder, CO team and work in a hybrid setting, both remote and at our Federal government client site.


About the Role:


You will develop and implement marketing and outreach communications for a Federal government client with a public safety focus. The role is an opportunity to support a laboratory/division focused on emergency response communications across the nation.


Your responsibilities will include:


  • Leveraging and recommending marketing tools and creative solutions based on marketing communications and outreach goals and challenges.
  • Building trusted relationships with Federal clients and other external public safety stakeholders.
  • Aligning with strategic communications goals, leading content development for digital communications including email marketing, social media, and other platforms.
  • Monitoring communications and outreach performance, and preparing subsequent quarterly and annual reports.
  • Supporting cross-team initiatives to include: virtual and in-person events, presentation development, meeting facilitation, and reporting.
  • Supporting the promotion of events (virtual and in-person) through marketing and outreach communications; this includes developing and disseminating email marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborating to develop messaging and branding for campaigns, aligning with the client’s corporate messaging principles and brand style guide.
  • Contributing to the firm’s business development and growth strategy.
  • Managing a content calendar for the publication of all digital communications; this is inclusive of managing deadlines, leading content creation, and overseeing the review process.
  • Managing and implementing updates to the client website and contact lists.
  • Developing data-driven analytics reports to show long-term and short-term impacts of client projects and initiatives.
  • Working on a highly motivated program management team developing and executing communications strategy and digital marketing campaigns to further the client’s mission and reach.
  • Working closely with the client, developing presentations and facilitating webinars that showcase research updates in a digestible format.
  • Writing blog articles for the client that highlight research, funding, staff, and events.


Location:


You will work as part of a team at the client-site in Boulder, CO in a hybrid setting, both remote and at our Federal government client site.


Required Experience:


  • 1+ years of experience developing content for Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
  • Self-motivated with a positive and professional approach to work.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Self-starter who is confident in identifying the path forward, making recommendations, and taking action.
  • A team player; at times, you may be asked to help with projects or tasks that are not strictly in the job description.
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • US citizenship or permanent resident and the ability to pass public trust clearance.
  • Experience working with Salesforce or Salesforce Marketing Cloud (or comparable CRM and email marketing software).
  • Must be comfortable presenting ideas and recommendations to teammates and clients; specifically, this position requires the ability to convey concepts verbally.
  • Must be self-directed, responsible, accountable, and transparent in approach; ability to move on projects with minimal supervision is a must.
  • 4+ years of experience working in digital marketing and content development.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and planning skills.


Preferred Experience:


  • Familiarity with webinar software such as GoToWebinar.
  • A firm grasp on the importance of following a brand style guide.
  • Experience working with Adobe Premiere Pro; similar video editing experience will be considered.
  • Proficiency working with Adobe InDesign and Photoshop, and a general desire to develop and practice graphic design skills that support digital content goals; confidence working with Adobe Spark or Canva will also be considered.
  • Experience working with Drupal.
  • Familiarity with Google Data Studio.
