We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Communications Specialist to play a crucial role in shaping and managing our company's external communications. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of media relations, investor relations, and corporate communications. This role will focus on building positive relationships with the media, investors, and other key stakeholders, while effectively conveying our company's mission, accomplishments, and growth opportunities.


What you’ll be doing:

Media Relations:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, and influencers.
  • Maintain and update the company's newsroom with timely and relevant content.
  • Craft press materials, including press releases, fact sheets, and media pitches.
  • Collaborate with PR agencies to develop and execute media strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Manage media inquiries and coordinate interviews, ensuring consistent and positive messaging.

Message Development:

  • Work with internal teams to ensure messaging alignment across all communication channels.
  • Craft compelling and consistent messages that resonate with target audiences.
  • Support M&A activities with clear and concise communication plans.
  • Refine messages based on stakeholder feedback and industry trends.
  • Coordinate messaging with legal and finance teams for compliance and accuracy.

Spokespeople Management:

  • Identify and prepare company spokespeople for media interactions, interviews, and speaking engagements.
  • Serve as a liaison between spokespeople and the media, ensuring consistent and on-brand communication.

Measurement and Analytics:

  • Implement robust measurement and analytics strategies to assess the effectiveness of communication efforts.
  • Use data-driven insights to make informed adjustments and recommendations for continuous improvement.


What we’re looking for:

  • Corporate communications experience preferred.
  • Creativity and the ability to think outside the box to develop innovative communication strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and the use of analytics tools to measure communication performance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Proven work experience 2-4 years in communications team or similar role.
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across the organization.
  • Proficiency in content creation, including writing and editing.
