WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Program Management: The role will involve a wide range of strategic projects, including developing communication plans for company-wide initiatives as well as executing day-to-day internal communications. The person in this role will gain insight and exposure to the company's business and operations, have the opportunity to be part of an inclusive environment, and interact with colleagues across the organization.
- Provide Insights: Continuously assess communication efficiency and iterate as needed to support main objectives/goals. Drive overall user adoption and engagement across all existing internal communication tools. Measure and maximize each tool's existing features and functionalities while identifying, prioritizing and implementing new ones.
- Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with communications platform vendors. Collaborate with vendors to provide feedback, develop training materials and process improvement. Work with the VQ Ops team to support group training, off site working events and enrichment programs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to understand communications requirements for various projects. Support design, timelines and best practices. Be a point of contact and subject matter expert for all things related to communications. Bridge the line of communication between VQ and VEG Hospitals to the frontlines.
WHAT YOU NEED
- Travel: Willingness to travel within the local region to surrounding VEG Hospitals on an as needed basis.
- Vision: Proven capability to develop, innovate, adapt process transformation approaches and methods, influence and lead to execute process change which brings higher business value. Strong strategy execution experience with attention to details, while keeping focus on the big picture.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Systems, or related discipline. Strong background in internal communication with experience operating in a complex organization. 2+ years experience in social media management or internal communications.
- Technical: Experience with social media platforms, collateral creation or communications websites. Strong communications skills; ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications. Experience working with multi-unit organizations. High level of customer service and writing skills.
