Job Posting Title


Communications Manager (Remote)



The communications manager is responsible for partnering with the corporate client communications team to develop and implement communication strategies in support of client audiences. This position collaborates with staff at all levels to execute the Prime client communications strategy, focusing on content and communications that supports a trusted advisor brand.


Responsibilities


  • Apply an understanding of Prime’s business strategy, major initiatives and success stories
  • Manage and/or consult on multiple projects and initiatives, prioritizing effectively and meeting deliverable dates. A key initiative for this role will be to manage and lead business integration needs and processes for effective client communications across Prime and Magellan RX
  • Work collaboratively with multiple internal partners (internal/external corporate communications, product marketing, sales, growth & retention, customer insights, government relations, internal account teams, etc.) across the company to evaluate, plan, and deliver effective communication strategies (including media relations, messaging, materials, and other delivery mechanisms)
  • Support run the business, government/regulatory, thought leadership, business integration and issues management/crisis communication needs for internal account teams and clients
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Leverage a variety of tactics and channels (email, video, presentations, interviews, Office365 tools, etc.) to effectively reach and engage audiences


Minimum Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; HS diploma or GED required
  • 5 years of work experience in related marketing, corporate communications, or agency roles
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship


Additional Qualifications


  • Ability to interact with senior leaders/key business partners and effectively make recommendations that tie back to business objectives
  • Strong writer with the ability to simplify complex information making it revenant for the client audience
  • Strong strategic thinking, negotiation, critical thinking, decision making, and relationship building skills


Preferred Qualifications


  • Previous health care experience and/or pharmacy or pharmacy benefit management knowledge preferred
  • Project management experience
  • Familiarity of interactive media and communication tools including video, CRM software (Sales Force/Pardot), Office 365 tools and other social collaboration vehicles
  • Experience supporting communications for external client facing audiences


Minimum Physical Job Requirements


  • Frequently required to reach with hands and arms
  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
  • Constantly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, talk, and hear
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
  • Occasionally required to stand, walk, and stoop, kneel, and crouch
