Commercial Sheet Metal Superintendent

Coastal Mechanical is currently seeking a Sheet Metal Superintendent to work in the Central Florida area for our Special Projects team Mainly working on hospitals, schools, Universities and Government buildings. We are looking for an experienced Sheet metal leader.

Requirements and responsibilities: :

• Willingness to mentor and teach other team members
• Will work with purchasing to procure materials needed
• Must be able to read blueprints and understand code
• Position may include, constant walking/standing, lifting/pulling, climbing ladders and outside work with weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license
• Overtime may be necessary depending on jobs and schedules
• Work closely with Project Managers and other team members
• Must insure safety rules are being followed.
• Must insure quality control, assist with scheduling, maintain goals
• Employer conducts background checks, motor vehicle checks, and drug screening.
• 5-10 years’ experience in HVAC Sheet Metal Duct Installation
• Management experience running construction crews
• Must produce project schedules, and coordinate tradesmen for each project

Salary Range Approximately: $20-$40 per hour depending on experience and location
