College Basketball Modeler- Remote position

:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate college basketball programmer to join our team and work with our lead modeler to help develop a cutting-edge college basketball model. We are long-time experienced successful sports modelers.

We are seeking candidates who have a strong background in the 'R' programming language as well as a deep understanding of college basketball.

Requirements:

-Solid programming experience with 'R'

-Strong understanding of statistical analysis and data modeling

-Familiarity with basketball analytics concepts and metrics

-Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively

-Attention to detail and self-driven

Job Compensation and Details:

Compensation is $20 per hour along with other benefits and incentives.

We expect 10-15 hours per week as we build the program, and approximately 2 hours per day once the season starts. Hoping for lots of flexibility as we determine our team needs.
