Role – Collections Representative

Location – (Omaha, NE) Primarily remote, but they must be local in case they are required to come into office

Duration : 6+ Months with potential extension

Pay rate : $18-20/hr. on w2

Seeking an Collections Representative to perform various collection duties on consumer or mortgage accounts in various stages of risk or performance to effectively reduce delinquency, losses and increase recoveries. A typical Collections Representative may also be responsible for the stocking of recovered or returned collateral, preparing documentation, processing proceeds of sales, and assisting customer with redemptions or reinstatements.

Qualifications:

• Detail oriented
• No specific degree requirements, but minimum high school/GED and accounting/FI related degree an asset
• Previous experience in a fast paced fraud environment and the ability to multitask
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Ability to think critically, and work independently
• Team player, and a good attitude and willingness to grow/learn
• Comfortable moving between systems and being on a dialer.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and company policies, procedures and regulations as related to accounting.
• 2-4yrs+ relevant experience (accounting/FI/customer service, but specific collections experience not necessarily required)
• Experience with CACS, FD, ALS, First Date Resources, or Kysys systems an asset
• Microsoft office
