Pura Vida Engineering Services (PVE) is seeking an experienced part-timeCollections Coordinatorto join our team. As a Collections Coordinator you will use and advance your skills in assisting with accounts receivables, billing and collections duties including, but not limited to; collections of outstanding accounts receivable dollars from the existing client base and all other aspects of collections, resolving customer billing problems and reducing accounts receivable delinquency.

Responsibilities

• Keeps management informed of all critical delinquencies
• Contacts clients directly in order to collect payments for bills that are past due
• Performs other related tasks as required
• Follow up and take appropriate action as a result of client calls, emails and collection activities such as, but not limited to, research of payments, pulling and revision of invoices, write offs, etc.
• Keep up to date with industry regulations and guidelines related to billing practices

Qualifications

• Ability to define problems, analyze and collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Good math aptitude; detail oriented; ability to work accurately
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Possess excellent organizational and time management skills necessary to prioritize and successfully accomplish numerous tasks and projects and complete them under strict time constraints
• Minimum 1 to 2 years of relative work experience
• Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to communicate and interact with a diverse group of contacts and provide information with ordinary courtesy and tact
• Minimum High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
