(90 Days probation period)SummaryResponsible for performing mechanical services on Cold Drink Equipment (CDE) including vending and fountain equipment. Install fountain beverages systems from start to finish. This position delivers, installs, and/or removes fountain equipment from customer locations. Position uses lifting equipment to load/unload and move fountain machines/units at customer accounts. Prepares equipment for delivery and maintains all paperwork (manual and with a digital device) associated with equipment installation and/or removal. Responsible for the vehicle and inventory assigned. May also assist with moving, storing, and organizing equipment in inventory at the facility. This position requires lifting, pushing/pulling, and moving heavy and awkward fountain equipment over the course of the shift.Responsibilities Maneuver equipment to perform all mechanical services on cold drink equipment including preventative maintenance. Keep all refrigeration equipment in proper operating condition. Maintain positive customer relationships. Prepare equipment following company standards. Ensure the vehicle has appropriate levels of parts inventory. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Unload and load new and used fountain equipment for daily installation. Install, swap, or remove equipment. Start up and verify quality of product being served. Repair and perform preventative maintenance as needed. Educate customers on basic equipment use. Collect accurate and complete equipment information and input as required. Maintain parts, tools, and equipment. Follow DOT regulations for Non-CDL vehicles requiring a DOT Medical Card. Establish positive customer relationships. Regular, reliable, predictable attendance. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Refrigeration/HVAC Trade or vocational certification preferred. 0 to 3 years of general technical experience required. 1+ years of refrigeration/HVAC experience preferred. Plumbing and electro/mechanical experience. Prior diagnostic troubleshooting. Demonstrated mechanical, technical, and electrical aptitude. Basic computer skills. Valid driver's license and driving record within MVR policy guidelines. HVAC certification is preferred. I-Fountain or Best certification preferred. CMV required, if applicable.
