Do you want to be a part of the critical infrastructure in today's growing technology? Vishay Electro-Films is currently seeking a 3rd shift CO2 Laser Operator responsible for using a laser to drill ceramic substrates per manufacturing specifications. The Laser Operator will help the cell meet its daily production obligations by adhering to quality and workmanship standards and producing work on-time and at the expected production rate. We’re looking for a reliable and motivated individual looking to start or continue growing a career in manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
- Process work orders through the cell in accordance with the daily schedule.
- Use learned troubleshooting techniques to maintain equipment production output.
- Responsible for proper set-up and operation of Laser drilling equipment.
- Strictly adhere to documented processes and procedures.
- Participation in 5S activities for the laser drill area.
- Completely and accurately record data in the appropriate electronic production logs.
Requirements:

- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be available to work 3rd shift 11:45pm to 7:45am, Sunday through Friday.
- Previous experience working in a production/manufacturing environment is preferred.
- 2 + years of manufacturing experience preferred.
- Must be able to read, comprehend, and interpret dimensional drawings.
