Responsibilities:

• Perform other related duties as required.
• Properly inspect parts.
• Create CNC programs using CAM Software
• Occasionally attend educational seminars on new and existing tool making processes.
• Work with toolmakers to determine what should be run on the CNC equipment and to determine the best methods and processes available.
• Setup and operate Tool Room CNC equipment. (Live Tool Lathes, 3 Axis Mills, 5 Axis Mills) as assigned.
• Work with Tool Room managers on workload status and department improvements.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas (5S).

Qualifications:

• This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to read blueprints, understand mathematical functions, including trigonometry that pertains to the job, and have inspection knowledge of how to properly inspect parts.

Preferred qualifications:

• CAM software experience preferred.
• Prior toolmaking experience preferred.
