Trace-A-Matic - CNC Machinist 3 (1st shift)

Role: CNC Machinist 3

Location: Brookfield, WI

Type: Full Time, First Shift

Position Overview:

Performs set up, operation, and programming of complex machined components for many different industries

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

The following essential functions are the critical duties an employee must be able to perform either unaided or with the assistance of a reasonable accommodation:

• Knowledge of GD&T tolerancing
• Advanced shop math with trigonometry and geometry
• Ability to set up all repeat jobs that are fully documented
• Knowledge of programming and may have ability to make edits or program.
• Run the first piece to print specification
• Manually inspect the part to the inspection sheet criteria
• May run multiple machines simultaneously as a production cell
• Mentor and train operators
• Ability to read blueprints to a medium/high level and correlate that back to the inspection protocol and documentation

Other duties as needed

Qualifications and Skills:

Education - Highschool diploma/CNC technical diploma preferred

Experience - 5+ years machining experience

Skills - Mechanical interest/aptitude, good math skills, and willingness to learn
