Write, install, and troubleshoot computer programs for CNC tire mold manufacturing machines. Design and configure set-up screens with required information and parameters to provide the most efficient and accurate machine set-up. Learn and communicate latest technology in program design in an effort to keep programming and systems evergreen.

• CNC programming in a manufacturing setting, create and read two dimensional computer drawings, mechanical equipment design and technology.
• Create, install, and maintain computer programs for Numerical Control and Computerized Numerical Control Machines.
• 4 Year Bachelor of Science degree preferred.
• 2 Year Technical degree with specialization in CNC Programming or equivalent is required.
• Determination of tooling, cutting strategies, speeds and feed rates for cutting machines.
• Ability to take design drawings, create tool paths and specify fixturing, tooling and setup.
• Creation of tool paths in CATIA V5/V4 for CNC Machines / Installation of tool path programming into machine controllers.
• Foundation in metal cutting technologies including turning, milling and EDM.
