Job Description
Nebraska Cancer Specialists is the regional leader in cancer diagnosis, treatment and research. We are seeking a compassionate, caring, kind, and capable Medical Assistant, CNA or CMA. (Monday through Friday, no nights, weekends or holidays) $1000 Sign on bonus.


Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To


  • Keeps exam rooms tidy
  • Serves as a communication liaison between the physician and the patient
  • Taking and properly documenting vitals
  • Assists schedulers and front desk staff as needed
  • Provides emotional support, physical comfort, and safe care to patients
  • Properly and timely documents pain, plan of care, screenings, and other items as necessary
  • Stocks supplies as needed
  • Prepares patient charts for the providers by obtaining any needed medical records prior to patient visit
  • Review medications, any changes, and properly documenting
  • Greets patients in a kind and caring manner, timely rooms patients
