Hire in as a Patient Care Tech and Receive Training for Become a Certified Nursing Assistant!!!

Under the supervision of the Director, Clinical Manager or Charge Nurse, responsible for providing basic and hygienic care and assigned procedures for assigned patients based on age specific needs. Duties may include but are not limited to basic patient care such as taking vital signs, passing trays/ice, bathing, linen changes, turning patients and answering call lights. May also be responsible for performing receptionist, clerical and transcription duties on an

Assigned nursing unit. Employee is subject to call back and over time as required by the hospital.

EDUCATION & TRAINING:

High School Diploma or equivalent required

EXPERIENCE:

Current skills and knowledge obtained from the completion of an approved Nursing Assistant program or 1 semester (3 months) from an accredited school of nursing. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred but not required. Ability to use paging systems, copy machines, computer and printer, telephone and fax. Knowledge of hospital and departmental policies, routines for test and procedures.

LICENSES & CERTIFICATION:

BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days and certification must be kept current while in this position
