Department Overview
At Motorola Solutions, our technology platforms in communications, software, video and services help our customers work safely and more efficiently. Our teams are responsible for mission critical systems that are used every day by public safety and government agencies across the globe. The Cloud Platform Engineering team accelerates cloud development, while optimizing cloud operations, management, and cost through scale and cloud-native specialization.
The Cloud Platform Engineering Security & Compliance team at Motorola Solutions is looking for a Compliance Analyst who will support the strategy and roadmap by meeting cybersecurity compliance standards such as FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, SOC 2, CJIS, ISO 27001, etc. The Compliance Analyst will be a vital part of a team implementing and maintaining scalable compliance operations. They will seek to understand the various cybersecurity standards applicable to the Motorola Solutions environments, and will support meeting compliance and audit requirements.
Job Responsibilities
- Work with remote teams and across time zones
- Write, review, and update controls, formal procedures, and internal process documents
- Develop understanding of regulatory requirements
- Provide assistance to users of compliance evidence gathering tools (e.g., Hyperproof)
- Quickly gain trust and work directly with a broad group of personnel
- Review and report on adherence to security configuration baselines
- Collect and review evidence for internal assessments, external audits, and customer security questionnaires
- Assist with user access reviews across various regions and applications
We are open to candidates working remotely located in the United States of America or Canada.
U.S. citizenship or Canadian citizenship is required.

This position is subject to working in high security areas governed by the US Department of Justice's "Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy" which would require successfully passing a more stringent fingerprint background check administered by Motorola Solutions Inc. customers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required (cybersecurity, audit, compliance, project management, IT, or related degree preferred but not required)
- Interpersonal communication skills with the ability to drive initiatives at multiple levels
Bonus Qualifications
- Understanding of SaaS development and DevOps concepts
- Experience and technical knowledge of IaaS (Azure or AWS), networking, Kubernetes, and related cloud technologies
- Basic technical skills including an understanding of APIs and data analytics
- Experience collecting and manipulating data (SQL, Excel, or other skills)
- Progress toward or desire to achieve an audit or security certification such as CISA, CISM, or CISSP
Basic Requirements
Bachelor's Degree required (cybersecurity, audit, compliance, project management, IT, or related degree preferred)
4+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity / compliance.
Must be able to obtain background clearance as required by government customer
